The pupil premium is funding directed to schools specifically to support pupils who are looked after by the Local Authority, children of armed forces familes and children who are in receipt of free school meals.
Our school is committed to supporting all pupils but especially those pupils who are deemed to be at a disadvantage educationally. We have a good track record of supporting pupils who need that support the most and we will continue to target this funding at areas of disadvantage to ensure that all children can achieve.
You can find out how this money was spent in 2013-14 and the impact that it had here. Reporting of this data is a statutory requirement.
In 2014-15 we planned in much greater depth to meet the needs of our Pupil Premium pupils which reflected the greater funds available to the school. You can find out HERE, how we spent our Pupil Premium funds and also find out how much success we had in meeting the needs of our Pupil Premium children.
