As St Nicholas is a voluntary aided school, the governing board is the admission authority for the school.  Our governing board has chosen to work with Blackpool Council to co-ordinate all our admissions.  Therefore, if you have just moved into the area, or your child is already attending a primary school in Blackpool and you are thinking of moving them to our school, please click here to take you to the application form which you must complete.  Your application will then be forwarded to the school for our governors to decide whether or not a place is available.

If your child was born between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022, you should apply for a school place for September 2026 by 15th January 2026.  Applications should be made to the local authority in which you live, regardless of where your preferred schools are.  Click here for Blackpool Council and here for Lancashire County Council.  You can read our Admissions Arrangements below.

For 2026 admissions, we will be holding an Open Evening on Thursday 16th October at 6.00pm.  The evening will begin with a performance from our brilliant KS2 Choir, followed by a short talk by the headteacher; tours of the school will then be given.  There is no need to let us know you're coming - just turn up on the evening.  We look forward to meeting you!
