As St Nicholas is a voluntary aided school, the governing board is the admission authority for the school.  Our governing board has chosen to work with Blackpool Council to co-ordinate all our admissions.  Therefore, if you have just moved into the area, or your child is already attending a primary school in Blackpool and you are thinking of moving them to our school, please click here to take you to the application form which you must complete.  Your application will then be forwarded to the school for our governors to decide whether or not a place is available.

If your child was born between 1st September 2019 and 31st August 2020, you should have already applied for a school place for September 2024; the deadline for applications was 15th January 2024.  If you have missed this deadline, you should contact the local authority in which you live as a matter of urgency.  Click here for Blackpool Council and here for Lancashire County Council.

For 2025 admissions, we will be holding an Open Evening on Thursday 17th October, 6.00-7.15pm.  The evening will begin with a performance from our brilliant KS2 Choir, followed by a short talk by the headteacher; tours of the school will then be given.  There is no need to let us know you're coming - just turn up on the evening.  We look forward to meeting you!
