The Big Plastic Count
28 February 2024
This week, St. Nicholas are taking part in the Big Plastic Count.
The Big Plastic Count is an important investigation into household plastic waste. It’s run by Greenpeace and Everyday Plastic - global campaigns that help to defend the natural world and tackle the effects of plastic problems.
The Eco-Committee and Make a Difference Team joined forces and presented a whole school worship last week informing the school of what actually happens to our rubbish once we throw it away.
All children should have received a tally chart last week. We would like you to count all the plastic you see throughout the week and record this as a tally. Please bring in your results on Friday.
