Youth Games Week 2025

On the week of the 16^th June, over 100 children represented St Nicholas in the Blackpool Youth Games. We had a fantastic week of fun events and competitions. Some children played golf, tennis, netball, football and even raced on swimming floats at Palatine. The teams performed amazingly in the competitions where they demonstrated resilience and team work. Our athletics team came 2^nd over all and the girls football team won their tournament. Thank you so much to those parents and guardians who brought their children to the Road Race event which was held after school on the Wednesday. Miss Ford and I were so proud of all the children as it was a very warm evening but they persevered and completed the course. A special mention to Cindy in year 1 who came 2nd, Lois who also came 2^{nd .}Freddy who placed 4th. Theo and Henry in year 2 placed 2nd and 3rd.
